Above all things, he was a man of God and loved Him with all his heart. Although he obtained his law degree from Northern Illinois University, he held his undergraduate Alma Mater, Bob Jones University, close to his heart. Matney at Keen & Matney in Farmington, CT.
While living in Connecticut, he was a member of Colchester Bible Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Adult Sunday School Teacher. His love of history and adventurous spirit took his family on travels around the globe, including many scuba diving trips with his daughter, Meredith. Ralph loved his dogs, photography, and gardening. He took an active interest in Republican politics, the Middle East and its role in Biblical prophecy, and homeschooling his children.
